Harrison Xu – Co-Director

Hello! I’m Harrison Xu. I’m majoring in Computer Science with minors in Statistics & Machine Learning and Applied Mathematics. I’m really interested in exploring all sorts of computational applications in biotech, including physics-informed modeling, high-throughput screening for drug discovery, and machine learning applications. In my free time, I play a bunch of sports (soccer and volleyball) and love playing music!

Teddy Ellis – Co-Director

I’m a junior in the Molecular Biology department interested in synthetic biology and bioengineering. In my free time, I like running, hiking, and trying out new recipes in the kitchen.

William Sebastian Gil – Treasurer

Hi, I am William and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m Majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in bioengineering. My area of interest in the current biotech scene is cancer therapeutics. I’m currently researching perturbative post-translational modifications on histones. In my free time, I hit the gym, play soccer, and write lyrics for songs.

Margaret Miao – Adviser

Hello! I am Margaret Miao. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering with minors in bioengineering and material science. My major area of interest in the current Biotech scene include: regenerative medicine, biomaterials engineering, soft robotics, and medical technology. In my free time, I love to draw, swim, play my violin, and play games with my friends.

Oleksandr Mykhantso – Events Officer

Hi! My name Oleksandr Mykhantso, but I just go by Sasha. I am majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Bioengineering. I have wide interests in various biotech area, including medical and environmental bioengineering, gene therapy/engineering, and pharmaceuticals. When I am free, I love to dance, take my analog camera for a walk, play pool, write poems, eat good food, and watch movies.

Amalia Nevarez – Outreach Officer

Hello! My name is Amalia Nevarez and I am majoring in Molecular Biology with a minor in Latino Studies. My major area of interest in biotech is medical technology, as I’m premed and would love to see how it can be further integrated into medicine in the future. Outside of biotech I love to read, play piano, and hang out with my friends!

Hi, I’m Stan! I’m a senior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am interested in bioelectronics, biomaterials, and surgical robotics. You can usually find me in Tower, the Princeton Record Exchange, or the Forbes music room drumming with friends!

In the world of biotech, I am super fascinated by drug delivery systems and longevity startups. Outside of PBG, I love DJing at WPRB (the Princeton radio station) and spending time outside!

Alec Silberg – Design

Hi, my name is Alec Silberg. I’m a sophomore at studying Molecular Biology with minors in Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. I’m particularly interested in biotechnology and healthcare innovation, which has driven my involvement in student organizations, such as PBG, E-Club, and TAMID, and startup ventures. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and sailing on the Princeton club team.

Hi, my name is Heidi, and I’m pursuing a Neuroscience major & Global Health Policy minor. I’m from a small town called Pullman, Washington. I’m primarily interested in regenerative biochips, whole-person healthcare, and policy work that expands rural access to medicine. In my free time, I love to make coffee, go to the gym, and eat.

Hello! My name is Zara Kamga, and I’m an Electrical & Computer Engineering student exploring a concentration in either Biomedical Engineering or Materials & Devices. I’ve always been fascinated by the unique intersection of technology and the natural sciences, and I’m excited by the potential for discovery and innovation in these fields. Outside of my academic interests, I enjoy creative pursuits like design and art, and love getting outside, traveling, and playing soccer!
